November 26, 2022Best dry/ compression bag on Amazon. I have an old- school Kelty 0° bag that was wayyyy too big to fit in my pack. After buying and returning two other compression stuff sacks, the ALPS bag had room to spare! After stuffing my huge bag in, I still had room for 5+ wraps for the water proofing. I really cranked on the compression straps to snug down the bag, tight enough to expect at leadt one to rip. They all held perfectly!

November 12, 2022Great bag. My second Stuff Sack. Got this today and quality seems good. This bag easily fit and compressed a queen size blanket. I gave it a test in heavy rain (the shower) and the blanket came out dry after the bag received a good soaking for 30-45 seconds. Its contents were completely dry after getting blasted on all sides and flipped around in the water. Also have had the regular stuff sack in large for a while. Both are awesome.

July 20, 2022Great for water protection, not so much for durability. My son and I used these on a 63 mile Boy Scout canoe Trek and they worked great to keep the water out, however one of the bags ripped pretty early on just from a shoe stepping on a corner. Covered it with some gorilla tape and all was well again.

June 5, 2022Good Alternative to Sea to Summit. I own Granite Gear comp/dry sacks and the highly recommended Sea to Summit comp/dry sacks as well. I use these for canoe camping so my review is based on that an not backpacking. The Granite Gear i own are the lightest, and therefore by design, the least durable (they are very lightweight treated nylon). The Sea to Summit are a great piece of kit and i highly recommend them.
